Answering Questions Around NASA Doomsday Prophecy 2012

Answering Questions Around NASA Doomsday Prophecy 2012 - Washington - Fever themed movie Resurrection, "2012" was struck. Many questions arise related to end-year 2012 forecast it.

One was about the story of the emergence of doom predictions. Initial predictions of doom are claims that starts Nibiru, planet who allegedly found Sumerians were driving toward the Earth.

Initially predicted disaster came in May 2003. But since nothing happened on any given day, the predicted end of the world switched to December 2012. Then the story dihubungkanlah end systems ancient Mayan calendar in winter 2012 and predicted the end date falls on December 21, 2012.

But was there a planet called Nibiru or Planet X or Eris that is approaching the Earth and threatening our planet with widespread destruction? According to NASA in the site, Nibiru and other stories about the planet Earth is heading towards the internet hoax. There was no basis to support the claim.

NASA stated further that if Nibiru or Planet was there and was going toward the Earth in the year 2010, the astronomers would have known at least in the last decade. And the planet should be visible to the naked eye right now.

Obviously it was not real. While Eris is real though, but it is a small planet similar to Pluto that will remain far from Earth. The closest distance to Earth that might be about 4 billion miles.

Many are asking about the polar shift theory. Could it happen? According to NASA, a shift in the Earth's rotation impossible. There is a slow movement of the continents (eg the Antarctic near the equator of hundreds of million years ago), but this is not relevant to the claims of the polar shift.

So if the Earth is threatened by a meteor hit in 2012? According to NASA, the Earth is going to always be able to experience collisions with comets and asteroids, although a large collision is extremely rare.

Last major collision is 65 million years ago. And that caused the extinction of dinosaurs. Now NASA astronomers are conducting a survey called the Spaceguard Survey to find the existence of a large asteroid-asteroid close to Earth before it hit the Earth.

"We have confirmed that there was no threat of asteroids of the asteroid that destroyed the dinosaurs," said NASA in statemennya.

"All work is done openly with findings posted on the site every day NASA NEO Program Office. So you can see for yourself no one predicted to hit Earth in 2012," said NASA.
